1. What amenities does the house offer?
The house has four floors:

  • Ground Floor: Living room, kitchen, and garden.
  • First Floor: Two bedrooms with private bathrooms and walk-in showers.
  • Top Floor: A spacious bedroom with a shower and a bathtub.
  • Basement: Private parking garage and laundry facilities.
 

2. What kitchen appliances are available?
The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances like a blender, microwave, rice cooker, water filter jug, electric hob, dishwasher, Delta coffee & milk foamer, hand press coffee and more. Basic supplies for the first days such as tea, coffee, olive oil, pepper & salt, dishwashing liquid are also provided.

3. What is included in the bedrooms?
Each bedroom has air conditioning, heating, high-quality mattresses of Pikolin (28 cm), and a towel set of 3 pieces. (small and large and beach towel) If you want a change of towels, no problem, let us know (in time). We do not use animal feathers for the pillows.

There is the option to convert double beds into singles, you can specify your preference when making the booking. Guests that stays over a week get a mid-stay cleaning with linen and towel replacement.

4. Are kids and pets welcome?
Yes, fold-out cots and high chairs are available for young children. Dogs are also welcome, we provide food and water bowls and a towel for drying after the beach.

We ask everyone who comes with a child or dog to secure the breakables themselves upon arrival; please put them safely away. Dogs are not allowed on the sofas or in the beds. Does your child sometimes still wet the bed? No problem. Ask us for extra mattress protectors for accidents.

  • Check-in: From 16:00. Contact us if arriving later.
  • Check-out: By 11:00. Please be on time as cleaning staff arrive at 11:00.

2. How should we leave the house upon check-out?
Please place used towels in the laundry basket, empty the dishwasher, and tidy up. If checking out early, leave the keys on the table and secure the doors.

3. Is there parking available?
Yes, there’s a private garage with access to the house. Be mindful of the steep driveway, and do not block the garage door as neighbors also need access.

Milfontes has both public and private healthcare facilities. In emergencies, call 112. For minor issues, there’s a local clinic, Milfontes HPA Saude, just five minutes away.

Yes, local massage therapists offer services nearby or can come to the house. Mention you’re referred by Dunja for bookings.

3. Is there an option for private dining?
A private chef service is available at €70 per person for a four-course meal with paired wines, minimum of 6 people. Bottles of wine can be ordered separately.

1. Are there any specific house rules?
Please use heating and air conditioning wisely, avoid loud music at night and if you smoke, please smoke outside and put your cigarettes in the ashtray.

2. Are there safety precautions to follow?
Smoke detectors and fire hoses are located on each floor. Please ensure all appliances are off when leaving and avoid leaving candles or lights on overnight.

3. We ask you kindly:
If it’s rainy weather, we have 2 covers for the pillows outside. Please use them, so the next guests don’t have wet pillows.
If your stay is long and days are hot, please help watering our plants in the garden, we appreciate your help. (garden hose is under the sink in the garden)
Please open the windows after taking a shower/bath.
Be careful with washing the down part of the milk foam frother, don’t rinse water over the electric part.
